From the high, high top of the Hallgrimskirkja church, you can see Reykjavik, with all its colorful rooftops, from every direction. In a matter of minutes the visibility can change from crystal clear to full fog! It makes sense that the word Reykjavik means 'Smoky Harbor' in Icelandic.
